In ye name of God Amen the fourteenth day of November in ye year of our Lord God one thousand seaven hundred and fourteen and in ye first year of the reign of his Sov’eign Lord George King of Great Britteine, France & Ireland, defender of ye faith.

I Oliver Jenkin of ye pish of Goytre in ye County of Monmouth within ye diocese of Landaph, being sick in body but of good & pfect memorie thank be to Almighty God doe commend my soul to ye petition of Almighty God my maker and redeemer & my body to be buried in ye pish Church of Goytre.

Ite: I doe give & bequeath towards ye repairing and upholding of ye Cathedrall Church of Landaph 1d.

Ite: I do give and bequeath to Joan my present wife dureing her widowhood ye leases for houses and land within ye said pish of Goytre with meares and marks there belonging & all other chattels & chattles & goods whatsoever, and after her decease to my sone Thomas Jenkin. & if Joan my present wife doe happen to marie another husband yt then ye said goodes, chattle & chattles upon ye day of marriage or any other time after is to be my said sone Thomas Jenkin forev’.

Ite: I do order yt all my legacies be paid and all other former will or wills be void & of noe effect.

Ite: I doe nominate & appoint Joan my wife to be my sole and whole exec’t of this my last will and testamt.
