This indenture made the first day of June in the seventh yeare of the Reigne of our soveraing Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred twentie and one between Roger Cadogan of the parishe of Goytre in the Countey of Monmouth Gent of the one pte, Thomas Jenkin of the sd parishe of Goytre and Countey aforesaid carpenter and Mary his wife of the other pte Wittnesseth that the said Roger Cadogan doth for himselfe his heires executors administrators and assignes for and in consideration of the sume of twelve pounds of good and lawfull money of Greate Brittain in hand paied by the said Thomas Jenkin and Mary his wife at or before the ensealeing and delivering of these presents and for divers other good courses and considerations have hereunto m… lieth? devised granted and to farme? letten? and by these presents doth demise grant and to farme? sett and lett unto the said Thomas Jenkin and Mary his wife theire heires executors administrators & assignes all that dwelling house the which? is now in the possession of Edward William Watkin and William John with one meadow and the free hould lands with the appurtenances there unto belonging and allsoe all the intr…? lately in…? by the saied Roger Cadogan or his under tenants being pte of the common or wast ground of pellenny adjoying to the sd freehould lands as aforesaid lying? and being in the parishe of Goytre jayning to the leasehould of William Evan? Memoradum that it is further considered & agreed by & between the within mentioned pties that the within mentioned Thomas Jenkin and Mary his wife they or any of theire heires or assignes at the exporation of the sd term of lives is to deliver upp the sd house in the same reparation & order as they doe reseive it unto the sd Roger Cadogan or his heires or assignes.
